Kevin King is Managing Director for Edelman Digital, manages the New York digital office and helps clients establish and manage their overall online visibility and customer relationship opportunities. Over the last six years with Edelman, King has worked on online initiatives for a wide variety of clients such as Bayer, Wal-Mart, eBay, American Heart Association, Starbucks, Kraft, Unilever and Johnson & Johnson.
Prior to joining Edelman, King was with Strategic Domain where he worked primarily with pharmaceutical companies helping them take advantage of the rapidly growing online health market. Before joining Strategic Domain, he spent a number of years with a leading New York based advertising agency - Kirshenbaum, Bond, & Partners (KBP). At KBP, he managed online and traditional advertising initiatives for accounts such as Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Revlon, and Liberty Mutual Insurance, For Wyndham he helped conceive, launch, and recruit members into their award winning ByRequest program through innovative and targeted online initiatives. King’s introduction to the Web was with Methodfive, a leading Silicon “Alley” web development agency. He was a scholarship athlete at the University of Maryland where he received his degree.
