Christina Smedley
Christina leads the global consumer marketing practice, which is Edelman's largest, working with teams in all countries worldwide. Our consumer practice is number one in the US and in 2009 is European Consumer Agency of the year. Christina is responsible for the development and uptake of the practice's intellectual property and offerings, including consumerACTIONism, Project 8095 - our Millennial task force, AsiaNext our quarterly trend identification of what's happening in this influential region, and Contentment, the way we maximize content online into consumer communities. Christina works with teams worldwide in developing, planning, activating and measuring programming. Edelman's global consumer marketing roster includes Axe, BMW, Diageo, Dove, eBay, Harley Davidson, Hasbro, Hermes, InBev, Jim Beam, Johnson & Johnson, Kimberly Clark, Knorr, Nestle, Omo, Pepsi, PepsiCo, Samsung, Schick, SC Johnson, Starbucks, Trojan, Virtu, WonderBra and Xbox.

Christina rejoined Edelman in 2004 after five years at amazon.com where she was responsible for worldwide communications that included launch of the brand in multiple markets, brand activation programming and marketing. She has worked with consumer brands like Coca Cola on brand campaigns, Ericsson on market entry positioning, and began her career working in fashion and retail with designers like John Galliano, the International Wool Secretariat and Liberty's of London. She has lived and worked in Europe, the US and Asia.
